Man dies following serious Seaford collision

A man has died following a collision in Seaford yesterday afternoon.

Investigators have been told two vehicles collided on the Nepean Highway, near Station Street, shortly after 2.30pm.

The male driver of one vehicle was taken to hospital in a critical condition where he sadly died.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 64-year-old Frankston East woman, was transported to hospital.

The female is expected to be interviewed by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage of who witnessed the driving behaviour of a white Holden Captiva station wagon travelling along the Nepean Highway area prior to the collision.
