Man dies in hospital following Mildura collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Mildura last week.

A Mitsubishi Lancer and Kia Sportage collided at the intersection of Deakin Avenue and Twentieth Street, causing the Kia to roll into a roadside culvert about 4pm on 15 September.

The Kia driver, a 55-year-old Mildura woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Her passenger, a 79-year-old Mildura man, was taken to hospital where he later died.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 67-year-old Mildura woman, was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
