A man has been winched to safety after getting stuck in mud in Tonimbuk yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the property on Bridal Road about 2.45pm on Wednesday 27 August.
It is understood the man was attempting to rescue cattle at his property when he entered a dam and began to sink into mud.
Police were assisted by Fire Rescue Victoria, Country Fire Authority (CFA) and State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers, and Ambulance Victoria.
The police Air Wing attended and winched the 49-year-old man to safety.
He was transported to hospital for observation.
