A motorcyclist has plenty of reasons to regret his Plenty Road antics after riding at high speed and allegedly performing a mono in front of officers this morning in Mill Park.
Greensborough Highway Patrol officers were patrolling Plenty Road when they observed a red 2020 BMW S1000 travelling through the intersection of Child Roads at a fast rate of speed – allegedly more than 200km/hr.
Police then detected the rider travelling at 161km/hr before he performed a U-turn, accelerated and allegedly performed a mono in front of officers.
The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old South Morang man, was arrested and interviewed.
He is expected to be charged on summons with serious charges, including conduct endangering life.
The motorbike was seized under common law until the matter is finalised at court.
