A p-plater has been on the receiving end of a $1018 fine and had his licence suspended after an Audi was spotted allegedly speeding in Kew early hours this morning.

Nunawading Highway Patrol Officers observed a vehicle allegedly traveling at 183km/h in an 80 zone on the freeway about 12.50am.

Deemed too dangerous to intercept given the speed, with the assistance of another police unit further along the Freeway, the Audi’s rego was obtained.
