More than triple the limit in Albert Park

A woman has blown more than three and a half times the limit after allegedly failing to give way to a police unit in Albert Park this morning.

Officers were patrolling along Canterbury Road when a Chery Omoda pulled in front of them near Kerford Road about 3am.

The vehicle was intercepted and officers spoke with the driver, a 24-year-old South Yarra woman.

She underwent a breath test, returning an alleged reading of .179.

Her licensed was suspended for a period of 12 months and she is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving offences.

The vehicle was impounded at a cost of $999.
