A pedestrian has died following a collision in Broadmeadows on 29 April.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Pearcedale Parade about 9.25am.
The pedestrian, a 52-year-old Broadmeadows woman, was transported to hospital in a critical condition but has since died.
The 27-year-old driver of the car stopped at the scene and was interviewed by police.
The Heidelberg Heights woman was originally charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, careless driving and disobey a red traffic control signal.
Investigators will now consider further charges in relation to the incident.
Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses that may not have been able to speak with police at the scene to come forward.
