Pedestrian dies in hospital following Narre Warren South crash

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Narre Warren South on 13 February.

Emergency services were called to reports a Toyota C-HR station wagon was travelling along Pound Road when it left the road and hit a 16-year-old boy before crashing into a tree about 4.30pm.

The Narre Warren South teen was airlifted to hospital however died on 20 February.

The female driver, a 48-year-old Narre Warren South woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators are still establishing the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
