Police appeal for dashcam footage following nine-vehicle collision at Laverton North

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance following an nine-vehicle collision on the Princes Highway at Laverton North yesterday morning.

Police were called to reports of the collision, near the Koroit Creek Road exit, involving one truck and eight cars about 6am.

While several vehicles sustained significant damage there have fortunately been no reports of serious injuries.

Investigators are working to understand the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.

There were a substantial number of vehicles in the vicinity of the collision and police are particularly keen to speak with witnesses and those with dashcam footage.
