Police investigate Alfredton death

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after a man was located deceased at a residence in Alfredton on Monday, 19 May.

Police were called to reports of disturbance at a residence on Wensleydale Drive just before 9am.

Police located the body of a 70-year-old man at the scene.

A second man – believed to be aged in his 30s – was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
