Police investigate Box Hill death

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man following a shooting in Box Hill this morning.

Emergency services responded to reports of an altercation at an address on Whitehorse Road about 1.50am.

A man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established, and the investigation remains ongoing.



Police are treating the incident as targeted.
