Melton Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance following a hit-run collision that left a woman with serious injuries overnight.
It is believed the victim was riding an e-scooter on Scott Street when she was struck by a vehicle which was turning into Swan Street about 12.20am on Sunday, 10 May.
The car, a small white sedan, failed to stop at the scene and was last seen headed east on Swan Street.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle remains outstanding, and no arrests have been made at this stage.
Police have released an image of a vehicle and are appealing for information.
