Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in South Melbourne this morning.
It is believed shots were fired from a moving vehicle into a business on Clarke Street about 1.45am on Thursday, 30 April.
The shots hit a roller door and a parked car.
No one inside the building at the time was injured and the car was unoccupied.
The offending vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A crime scene has been established and the investigation remains ongoing.
Detectives from Crime and Counter Terrorism Investigation Services’ Operation Eclipse will review the incident to determine any links to the series of arsons and non-fatal shootings on licensed venues within the City of Melbourne, Port Phillip and Stonnington.
