Police investigate suspicious fire at CBD licensed premises

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports of a building fire on Lonsdale Street about 3.15am.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze at the property, which was unoccupied at the time.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be established however the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
