Police investigate vandalism at Police Memorial in Melbourne

Police are investigating the circumstances after the Victoria Police Memorial was vandalised in Melbourne this morning.

It is believed unknown offender/s used red paint to vandalise the memorial on St Kilda Road sometime overnight and spray-painted phrases including ‘good cop, dead cop’ and ‘shame’.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.

Local council will attend to remove the graffiti.
