Quotes attributable First Constable Ben Lewis from Melbourne East Neighbourhood Policing Team:

“This man was cowardly assaulted while going about his business in the CBD” he said.

“The victim had nothing to do with the protest activity. He was innocently walking along a city street”.

“This is appalling behaviour, entirely unfair and completely unreasonable”
