Police search for missing man Ishmail

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Cairnlea man Ishmail.

The 82-year-old was seen in Carinlea about 7.20am on Sunday, 21 September.

Police and family have concerns for Ishmail’s welfare due to his disappearance being out of character, and his diagnosis of alzheimers.

Ismail is described as being Southern European in appearance and is short and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a black beanie, black jumper, grey trackpants and black shoes.

Ishmail walks with a stoop and his hands behind his back.

He is known to frequent Sunshine.

Investigators have released an image of Ishmail in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
