Police search for missing man James

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Broadford man James.

The 44-year-old was last seen on First Street about 10pm on Thursday, 19 June.

James told his family that he was going camping in the Mt. Disappointment area.

He was spotted at a service station in Wallan, before being seen driving erratically north on the Hume Freeway in Tallarook about 11.43pm.

His mobile phone has since been located on the side of Broadford-Wandong Road in Clonbinane.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his disappearance being out of character.

James is described as being Caucasian in appearance and is approximately 182cm tall with short brown hair, a beard and a moustache.

James was last seen wearing a hi-vis work shirt, dark pants, and a khaki and black hat.

He is travelling in a grey Toyota Hilux utility, registration 1JM3JY.

Images of James and his vehicle has been released in the hope it will assist in locating him.
