Declaration of the Designated Place under section 3A of the Victoria Police Act 2013
I, Robert Hill, Deputy Commissioner, declare the following location as a designated place, pursuant to section 3A (subsection) of the Victoria Police Act 2013.
The declared designated place will be operating from 8.00am on 8th December 2025 to 11.59pm on 28th February 2026 inclusive.
I am satisfied of the matters specified in sections 3A(3)(a)-(c) of the Victoria Police Act 2013 in making this declaration.
Boundary of the Designated Place
The designated place covers Fountain Gate Shopping Precinct and surrounds including all public places within the area, bounded by:
- the intersection of Magid Drive and Princess Highway
- east to the intersection of Princess Highway and Narre Warren North Road
- north to the intersection of Narre Warren North Road and Monash Freeway
- west to the intersection of Monash Freeway and Magid Drive.
The designated place includes, but is not restricted to, all roadways and footpaths associated with the stated road and road related areas. Road has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
