Rider found deceased in Tarneit

Sadly, a motorcycle rider has been found deceased in Tarneit this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene after a passerby came across the rider on a path just off Hogans Road, near Penzo Way, on their morning walk about 7.10am.

The rider, believed to be a man aged in his 20s, appears to have come off his motorcycle and crashed in the early hours of this morning.

The man couldn’t be revived.

Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and prepare a report for the Coroner.
