Second man charged following Ivanhoe death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a second man following a fatal shooting in Ivanhoe last week.

The 25-year-old was charged yesterday afternoon with assist offender – murder.

The Narre Warren man appeared before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to reappear on 12 January.

The charges following the discovery of a 27-year-old man’s body in the front yard of a Linden Avenue home about 6pm on 2 September.

Investigators previously charged a 26-year-old Cranbourne man with one count of murder.
