Police have arrested a teenage boy following a three-car collision in Bentleigh.
Emergency services were called to a collision at the intersection of Jaspar Road and Patterson Road about 7.30pm on 11 May.
It is alleged the two male occupants of a Mercedes C300 fled the scene on foot shortly after the collision.
A 16-year-old boy from the Cardinia area was stopped by witnesses and held until police arrived.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and is yet to be interviewed by police.
The second male is yet to be located.
Fortunately the other drivers involved were not seriously injured and it is believed that the Mercedes was stolen from a gym in Nunawading on 10 May.
The investigation remains ongoing.
