Three charged following fatal stabbing in Norlane

Homicide Squad detectives have charged two men and a woman following a fatal stabbing in Norlane on Sunday afternoon.

It is alleged there was an altercation between three men and two women outside a residence on Alkira Avenue about 12.40pm on 21 June.

A 30-year-old Norlane man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

A 28-year-old Norlane woman was conveyed to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

A 28-year-old Corio woman, a 34-year-old Norlane man and a 39-year-old man from Lovely Banks have been charged with murder.

They will appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ court on 23 June.
