Two arrested following Langwarrin stabbing

Police have arrested two teenage boys following a serious stabbing in Langwarrin early this morning.

It’s alleged a 41-year-old man confronted a group of boys trying to break into a vehicle outside his Govan Street home about 12.20am.

Investigators will allege a confrontation occurred and the Langwarrin man was stabbed before the offenders fled.

The victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Police arrested two 16-year-old boys, both from the Casey area, about 4am who will now be interviewed in relation to the incident.

Enquiries remain ongoing to locate a third teen.
