Homicide Squad detectives have today charged two men in relation to the death of a man in Dandenong earlier this month.
Three search warrants were executed this morning in Doveton, Blackburn South and Endeavour Hills with assistance from Greater Dandenong and Manningham Crime Investigation Units.
A 27-year-old Doveton man and a 34 -year-old Blackburn South man were arrested and have subsequently been charged with murder.
They will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 29 August.
A 33-year-old Endeavour Hills woman was also arrested.
She was interviewed and has since been released pending further enquiries.
Today’s arrests follow an incident on 19 August where a man was located on the Princess Highway about 4.50am with a number of stab wounds.
Paramedics treated the 39-year-old Dandenong man however he died at the scene.
Police will allege the parties involved were known to each other.
