Police have laid further charges after RSLs in Reservoir and Heidelberg were vandalised on ANZAC Day.
Investigators will allege the pair vandalised a venue on the corner of Spring and Cleeland streets in Reservoir just after midnight on 25 April.
Yesterday, officers executed two search warrants at addresses in Northcote and Reservoir.
The pair were both charged with criminal damage, marking offensive graffiti, possessing a graffiti implement with intent to mark graffiti and grossly offensive public conduct (x2).
The two women were initially arrested by uniform members on patrol after they were spotted allegedly spray painting the Heidelberg RSL about 1.45am.
After a short foot chase the pair, aged 22 and 20-years-old, were arrested.
They were bailed to appear before Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on 19 May.
