Witness appeal following Lara fatal hit-run

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal hit-run in Lara last night.

Emergency services were called to reports a male pedestrian was located deceased on Bacchus Marsh Road shortly after 11pm.

It’s believed the man was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene.

The man’s identity remains unknown at this time and the exact circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
