Woman charged following Traralgon death

Homicide Squad detectives have today charged a woman as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Traralgon last month.

A 29-year-old Traralgon woman was arrested this afternoon and has subsequently been charged with murder.

She will face Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 24 April.

The charge follows an incident on 30 March where a man was located deceased at a Traralgon property.

Officers were called to a welfare check at a property on Gwalia Street just before 1am.

A 40-year-old Traralgon was located at the address.

The 29-year-old woman and a 64-year-old Traralgon man were arrested on the day and interviewed by police before being released pending further enquiries.

Police will allege the parties are known to each other.
