Woman dies following Ballarat Central collision

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Ballarat Central this evening.

Investigators were called to the intersection of Creswick Road and MacArthur Street about 6.30pm on 29 May after reports of the two car collision.

One of the drivers involved, believed to be a woman in her 60s, was treated at the scene by emergency services but could not be revived.

The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
