Woman dies following Berwick crash

A woman has died in hospital following a crash in Berwick yesterday, 17 January.

It is believed a woman was struck by a vehicle in a carpark on Paternoster Lane about 11.30am.

The 88-year-old Berwick woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has died in hospital.

The male driver of the car stopped at the scene and has been interviewed by police.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
