Woman dies in Westmeadows collision

Police are investigating after a fatal collision in Westmeadows on Friday night.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian on Mickleham Road about 6.55pm.

The pedestrian, a 52-year-old Westmeadows woman, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old Westmeadows man, was uninjured and has spoken with police.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
