Declaration of Designated Place under section 3A(2) of the Victoria Police Act 2013
I, Robert John HILL, Deputy Commissioner, Regional Operations, declare, under section 3A(2) of the Victoria Police Act 2013 (Act), the following location as a designated place.
The declared designated place will be in effect from 8.00 am on 1 July 2026 to 11.59 pm on 31 December 2026 inclusive.
I am satisfied of the matters specified in sections 3A(3)(a)-(c) of the Act in making this declaration.
Designated Place
The area that is declared to be a designated place is all public places within Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, Narre Warren, being the area bordered by (and inclusive of):
- the intersection of Magid Drive and Princess Highway
- east to the intersection of Princess Highway and Narre Warren North Road
- north to the intersection of Narre Warren North Road and Monash Freeway
- west to the intersection of Monash Freeway and Magid Drive, and
- south to the intersection of Magid Drive and Princess Highway.
