Why you should return
Returning as a police reservist (frontline support officer) can give you many of the things former members miss about policing:
- purpose,
- a team environment, and,
- the opportunity to continue making a difference in the community.
You can get all these things without the unpredictability of shift work.
As a police reservist, you won’t need to work night shifts, only weekday shifts within set hours with part-time options available.
As the role doesn’t require you to leave the building, there’s also no requirement to carry operational safety equipment.
If this sounds like the perfect arrangement and you’re ready to contribute again, register your interest to rejoin our team now.
