To be eligible to be a reservist you must:
- have served as a police officer in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom for at least two years
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- hold a valid Australian driver’s licence (manual or automatic).
There are no fitness requirements. If you retired on medical grounds, you may still be eligible, subject to a medical assessment.
