The Licensing and Regulation Division of Victoria Police regulates the weapons industry in Victoria.

There are circumstances where it may be appropriate for a person to possess a weapon; Victorian legislation outlines the different types of weapons and the types of activities for which they can be possessed, carried and used. You can also find information regarding Governor in Council exemptions, which are issued by the Department of Justice.
