- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Victorian Government departments and agencies to implement and support significant legislation and reform activities.
- Deliver the State Command Coordination Centre to support the Victoria Police Deployment Model.
- Deploy police reservists to perform support functions to return police to the frontline.
- Develop a new Victorian licensing registration system and support the National Firearm Register.
- Engage with key partners to support the delivery of Court functions, including Drug Court programs in regional areas and the online delivery of remand court services.
- Enhance technology to improve the prevention, detection and enforcement of road safety offences.
- Establish a dedicated team to disrupt criminal networks by targeting assets and wealth obtained through criminal means.
- Introduce new rural academies and pilot the Foundation Training Program in Mildura and Gippsland.
- Modernise Victoria Police infrastructure to support critical digital forensics, police custody facilities and police training.
- Provide a targeted response to emerging crime themes such as cyber-crime and cyber-security through the implementation of Victoria Police strategies.
- Refresh operational equipment, upgrade systems and streamline processes to reduce administrative burden and increase frontline capacity.
- Strengthen our media campaign to attract and recruit new police applicants.
- Support high-risk young people through a range of programs and services, and via the recruitment and deployment of dedicated youth crime coordinators.
