Community Liaison Officers

Community Liaison Officers provide support to help people communicate with Victoria Police and access appropriate services.

They work with communities that may face additional barriers when reporting crime or engaging with police, including:

  • explain police processes
  • connect you with support services
  • help you access communication assistance
  • provide support throughout the reporting process.

Community Liaison Officers do not investigate crimes, but they can support you when reporting a matter and help connect you with the right people.

  • need an interpreter
